KDK Come Home To Harmony
A brand video to highlight KDK home shower series.
Our Approach
The task was to highlight KDK’s home shower product line and other products such as fans that make the whole house look harmonious with KDK’s range of home products.
Before making the animation, we took many photos of the home shower products as well as the fans in order to create the realistic look in the CGI.
3D MOODBOARD
A snippet of our research stage when gathering some of the suitable moodboard. Gathering moodboards is important during the early stage in order to align the creative vision together with all stakeholders in this project.
3D Design, Modeling and Motion Studies
Another crucial process is to look into some of the important elements in the video and to create a detailed plan in designing each of them in 3D.
Aside from desigining, we took the time to gather more movement and motion references for some of the details in the video such as how the flower petals are flying, transitions and 3D camera movement.
Why use 3d animation
3D Animation has been used by many high-end brands due to its versatility and it is much easier to adapt for future usage as brand evolves or updates. One key benefit of using 3D animation is its ability to save a significant amount of budget by foregoing live photoshoot or video shoot session which requires much more resources such as location, talents and crews.
With its ability to combine realism and creativity, it makes an ideal medium for brands looking to stand out, improve retention and eventually to increase conversions. It is versatile enough for digital marketing, social media, and websites.
